Grandparent Day

Eleftheria and Artemis came home from the clinic on Saturday to a mostly quiet apartment.  On Sunday Papou and Yaya Patsikas and Aunt Georgia came to welcome the new addition to the family.  It was a wonderful afternoon.

Georgia, Aristides, Evangelia holding Artemis and Elefteria

A little one on one time with Papou!

Evangelia brought a pork roast, Karen made lasagna (per Ian's request) and Georgia contributed a wonderful salad.  Throw in retsina, wine and beer to wash it all down.  Good stuff.

The sleeper was made by Ian's great-g'ma Gin and worn by all the boys when they were infants.  Does anyone remember those days?:-)

After dinner nap.

Simos had to work on Sunday, so he stopped by on Monday

If the neighbors wondered if the baby arrived, one look at the clothes line would give them the answer!

Off to meet the pediatrician.

  1. Love the laundry line. Too funny. Artemis looks so cute all bundled up. Is Eleftheria getting some rest and feeling ok? It's great to see all the smiles and laughter.

  2. I just love the photos of people cuddling Artemis. She is so incredibly loved. I can't wait until it's my turn!
