1st Sunday In Thessaloniki

The sun shone bright and the temps were in the 50's with little wind.  Seems to be much better than the weather back home today!  Karen and I went on our first non-chaperoned walk around the neighborhood today.  We were gone about 3 hours, stopped for coffee and found our way home.  We only referred to the beautiful map Eleftheria prepared for us once.  Once home, we ventured out once more to purchase kotopoulo (rotisserie chicken) for dinner.  The shopkeeper was so impressed with our Greek, he gave us a discount.  Anyway, here are some photos I have taken over the first few days.

  3. The photo of the "Sunset Over the Harbor" could be in a National Geographic. Stunning!
