Outer Banks - Avon in September

Karen did a number of posts while we were in the Outer Banks in September, however none of my photos were included.  So here is my contribution.

Due to the fact that I am traditionally an early riser I was able to enjoy repeated beautiful sunrises.

In addition to the morning sunrise we had 1 to 3 deer wander through the dunes south to north every day around 7:30 AM.  You could almost set your watch by them!

Turtles in the pond at Pea Island.

I see you.

The Bodie Island lighthouse has been restored and is now open to the public.
