While we have been busy with our various outside spring projects, Mother Nature has likewise been busy. After a miserable winter, spring has been long and pleasant, not too hot too early and no late frost to damage the flowering trees and shrubs.
Even the moss is in bloom!
A brief month for this June bug:-(
The Kousa Dogwood seems to be especially susceptible to late frost, but when there isn't one the blossoms are spectacular.
Mother Nature's helper........(mine too!)
Wow! What an incredible show this year! You guys must be feeling quite pleased with yourselves. And rightly so. The dogwood is especially impressive, and I love the picture of Mom on the ladder. I imagine you had to keep telling her to get out of all the other shots. In my mind, all she does is move from one spot in the yard to the next, weeding, primping, trimming, and watering. Congratulations. The yard looks great and is a living representation of your time, love, and interest.
ReplyDeleteNice pics! Looking beautiful and lush. I can't wait to see all the new work in person! Only 3.5 weeks?!
ReplyDeleteWow! Looks like a master gardeners catalog! Beautiful, impressive, inspiring!
