This past weekend we headed to Ithaca for Sarah and Keith's baby shower at Hopshire Farms and Brewery. While not your traditional format it was great fun. Many of their friends and co-workers came along with Veneta, Jenn, Bob and Zhora.
Along with some tasty beers, there was plenty of good food provided by all. Sunny and cool, it was a very pleasant way to spend the afternoon celebrating the baby to come.
We opened some family gifts at the house Friday night prior to the festivities on Saturday. Mom put together a terrific basket of baby things she had saved from Keith's infancy.

What a great celebration. Creative to put it in a brewery, but I guess the men in the room needed a sedative. I get that. Hope you all had a wonderful time, and wish that we could have been there.

The family heirlooms are beyond amazing, to see and touch and feel these priceless things that have been loved so long and a part of so many memories for so many people... wow. So very special!
